Mail on iOS Devices

  1. If you have already configured your iOS device(s) to get your Concordia email, you must delete that account. Tap Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars. In the account listing, tap the account associated with Concordia. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account. DO NOT FEAR: This does not delete your email or your email account.
  2. To setup your migrated mailbox, tap Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Add Account.
  3. Tap Microsoft Exchange or Exchange, whichever one shows up in your OS.
  4. Enter your email address, your password and fill in a description. Tap Next and your phone will verify your account. If you are unsure of your email address or password, contact the helpdesk at 914-395-4802.
  5. On the next screen choose which items you want to sync (at minimum choose mail) and tap Save.
  6. Done!

Mail on Android Devices

  1. If you have already configured your android device(s) to get your Concordia email, you must delete that account. From the Home screen, tap Mail. Make sure you are in your Concordia email account. Tap the menu button and tap settings. Tap Delete Account. DO NOT FEAR: This does not delete your email or your email account.
  2. From the Home screen, tap Mail.
  3. Tap the menu button and tap add account.
  4. Tap Exchange or Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync.
  5. Enter your email address, your password. Tap next.
  6. At this point some phones require additional setup.
    1. Change the server address to outlook.office365.com
    2. Leave the domain blank.
    3. Enter your complete email address for the username (eg moto@concordia-ny.edu).
    4. Tap Next.
  7. On the next screen choose which items you want to sync (at minimum choose mail) and tap Next.
  8. Give the account a description if you wish and tap Finish setup.
  9. Done!
